This type of Hajj involves performing Umrah during the months of Hajj (Shawwal, Dhu al-Qa'dah, and the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah), followed by performing Hajj. Pilgrims performing Hajj al-Tamattu' enter into the state of Ihram for Umrah, complete the rituals, exit Ihram, and then enter into Ihram again for Hajj.
In this type of Hajj, pilgrims combine the rituals of Umrah and Hajj without exiting Ihram between them. They enter Ihram with the intention of performing both Umrah and Hajj together.
This type of Hajj involves performing only the rituals of Hajj without performing Umrah. Pilgrims undertaking Hajj al-Ifrad enter into the state of Ihram with the intention of performing Hajj alone.
